Hrafnfjörður is one of the five Jökulfjörður fjords. At the bottom of the fjord you can walk up to Skorarheiði, which is an ancient national route to Hornstrandir. There is also a peculiar crater made of supporting rock, over 100 meters high, called Gýgjarsporshamar in the fjord bottom. It is a popular stop for rock climbers. Skorarheiði connects the bottom of the fjord to Furufjörður, but it is on the popular hiking trail around Hornstrandir. Bolungarvíkurheiði connects the bottom of the fjord to Bolungarvík.

Clothing
It is our recommendation that people bring appropriate clothing according to the weather forecast. However, weather conditions can change rapidly and it is therefore necessary to bring warm clothes. It is good to have change of clothes, waterproof clothes and appropriate footwear. In Iceland, the weather is often unpredictable and clothing is therefore an important part of trips to Hornstrandir.
Epidemiology
Passengers are asked to consider their own disease control and follow the disease control rules that apply in the community. The government's recommendations on masking and disinfection apply on board in order to reduce the risk of infection and protect other passengers. Respect the rules, take care of your own hygiene and use masks. Stay safe.
